Trying cereal

Okay, I really didn't want to try Patrick on cereal this early, as he's only just over 3 months, and "they" generally say to start 4-6 months. But, he has been avidly watching us all eat for more than a week, and recently started grabbing at my plate at dinner. Not only that, but in the evenings just nursing doesn't seem to satisfy him. So, I broke down and tried it a few days ago.

And Erin wanted to see what all the commotion was, so decided to get back up even though we'd already put her to bed.

I have given him cereal every evening for the past 3 days and yesterday he was doing SO WELL with it. He was opening his mouth for spoonfuls and swallowing most of it. So even though I didn't want him to be, he is apparently ready for it.
