So, today's doctor's appointment didn't show much...Patrick's perfect. That's nice to know. I'm not any more dilated, but I am 70% effaced (thinned out) and very soft. She said that all that needs to happen is to have Patrick drop, and I'll be ready to go.
So, this Friday is the 13th. Sounds like a great day to have a baby. =Þ

Hey little man! This is Aubri, your mama's friend. You haven't met me yet... We're all excited to have you here in the world, trust me! Like, elated, really... but hear me out for a second. I know your mom is all psyched for you to come on the 13th, but hold out. Just one day. Seriously! You see, Valentine's day is the world's greatest day. Trust me. It's my anniversary. If you hold out til V-day, not only do you get to be born on a sweet holiday, but every birthday you have during Elementary school will consist of candy, games, and parties. Can't go wrong. Not only that, but you will never have an excuse to be a grouchy "I hate Valentines' day" kind of person. And then you can join me on my mission to prove to the world that V-day is the BEST day.
So, seriously little dude... hold out for the 14th. You know you wanna candy birthday... c'mon!
